NASPL Health Guidelines

March 7, 2022

As the COVID-19 pandemic moves to the endemic phase, the health and safety of NASPL members, staff and vendors continue to be a priority at every step of the planning process for NASPL events. Before each in-person event, we review hotel protocols, local/state laws, and CDC guidelines, to help protect the health and safety of all attendees. NASPL has implemented guidelines for face coverings, sanitizing stations, meeting size parameters, contactless options, and social distancing.

NASPL works with each facility where events are held to ensure, to the greatest extent possible, that there is sufficient space to socially distance and enhanced cleaning/safety protocols. At a minimum under current CDC guidelines, NASPL is committed to the following:

  • Ensuring hand sanitizing stations and personal protective equipment will be available to all attendees.
  • All attendees are encouraged, but not required, to wear a face mask. However, all attendees shall follow the facility’s masking requirements. Signage will be posted in any area where masking is required.

NASPL will continue to follow local/state and CDC guidelines and we encourage all attendees to follow CDC Guidance for Travel During the COVID-19 Pandemic. These guidelines will be revisited and revised prior to each in person event that NASPL hosts.
