John R. Rodgers 

John R. Rodgers, Jr. is a 1984 graduate of Pennsylvania State University. He then earned a master's degree in History with an emphasis in Research Methods from Shippensburg University. He is the franchise owner for JR Rodgers & Associates, Inc., the Dale Carnegie Training® Franchisee in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which represents counties in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and West Virginia. As owner, he manages all instruction and marketing for Dale Carnegie Training® in his franchise.

 

John has been a Dale Carnegie® instructor since 1989 and has gained international recognition by Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. as one of the top marketing associates and instructors in the world. In the past two years John has become one of Dale Carnegie's Executive Coaches. In this role John works with Senior Vice Presidents and C-level executives to improve their overall effectiveness and efficiencies in working through people to achieve maximum business results. John also is recognized as a global thought-leader on servant leadership and finalizing his first book on that in-demand topic.

 

John and his wife, Colleen, live in State College, Pennsylvania. They have five adult children Alexandra, Jackie, Sam, Jillian, and Kaitrin. They are especially proud to be grandparents!

Dr. Kay Potetz

Dr. K. Kay Potetz is a Management Consultant and has been conducting seminars since the early 1980s. Her qualifications include 25 years of management and administrative experience, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Ph.D.
 

Dr. Potetz began her career in hospital work as a Radiological Technologist and moved on to Nuclear Medicine Technology. She is registered with the American Colleges of Radiological and Nuclear Medicine Technologies.
 

After many years in health care, Dr. Potetz moved from the hospital environment to teaching. Her last position was that of Vice President of a Cleveland Hospital. She introduced her company, Dr. Kay Potetz & Associates in the late 1980s. 

 

She is also an Executive Coach and holds a certificate in Developing Leadership through Emotional Intelligence from CASE Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a graduate of the Hay Group Emotional and Social Competency Inventory (ESCI) Accreditation Program. In addition, she is a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) instructor. 

 

Dr. Potetz is featured as an expert source and news commentator on powerful radio stations across the country including top rated CBS Radio affiliates WBBM, Chicago, WTOP Washington, DC, KRLD Dallas, KDKA Pittsburgh, as well as national shows such as Wall Street Journal This Morning. 

 

In addition to coaching and conducting seminars, Dr. Potetz is an adjunct faculty member at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio and serves as a consultant for Kent State University’s Center for Corporate and Professional Development.

 

Recently she published her book, “Take It Back: The Personal Power You Give Away Each Day.” in September 2012. The books are available electronically for Kindle and Nook, or email Dr. Kay for a printed copy.
